Yep that was it. Still not got around to the rear axle yet so god knows what the brakes look like in there.
Haven't updated thread for a few weeks but have got some work done.
End of last week I managed to remove the underseal so I can continue the repairs to the floor.
All this was done in a small space on my back so pretty happy with results. Since had a coat of kurust on the sill edges and over the previous repairs.
Was a good time to do this as I was having issues with the welder but managed to get it going today, having replaced the swan neck liner but seem to be getting to much condensation in the garage that's attacking the welder and reel of wire so it's living in the kitchen now.
Next week I can start cutting more plates for the floor and get a few bits welded up at the weekend. Once the warmer weather hits us I can start coating the floor with primer and the underseal.

Looking good, dreading having to do this to mine
This is still ongoing, just got a coat of etch primer on the underside today. Will be good to not have to roll around on my back to work on this! No pictures as yet as there's nothing different to show.
So today I decided on as it was going to be the hottest one this year, I would roll around in a stuffy garage putting the first coat of underseal on the floor. I assumed the underseal would be more ply able when heated, which it was, in fact very ply able.
It requires another coat before the hammerite goes on but didn't want to leave it sitting in etch for to long. Few pictures of the coat:

So I'm pretty happy to say one area of this car is finished ...sort of. Both front wheel wells have had a layer of etch, seam sealer, etch, stone chip, under seal, and 2 coats of blue smooth hammerite.
I have done the same along the bottom of both seals and then il just blend in with breeze blue. Just a few pictures for you.
