Good work.
Good work.

So where did we get to!!
Few things happened again. Pictures do the talking
Having had the pedals in and trying to bleed them with little success, I've encountered the same problems as Iain, I've gone back to basics.
Then bench bled it in the car
No air bubbles in any of the clear tubes (note fixings need washers, these are just temp as are the lines, I've got the correct lines but waiting on copper washers for the banjo bolts)
Moved the reservoirs aswell to get them level and get more fluid in them.
Found that during testing the pedal box was flexing when the brakes were pressed hard, I didn't like this so added some supports down to the floor.
Bolted it to the supports aswell, no movement in the mounting plate now at all, much much happier with it. still cant get them to bleed up solid, next step is to loop the rears to the reservoir and concentrate on the fronts, I think there is air trapped in the line, just needs to be worked out with some more bleeding!! Almost impossible to do with just one person though so have to wait for help.
Other than that, all pretty much to plan, all electrics work apart from the water guage, reads really hot, which I think is an air lock, I need to download the program to allow me to look at the ECU data, I've tested the sensor in boiling water in a cup and it read 90 degrees so I think that works but ordered a new sender anyway. Oil pressure guage isn't working either, think I've busted the sender, new one ordered.
That's all for now!!
I had to strengthen the pedal box also ! On the standard brakes mine blead fine weird, had a small amount of trouble with the brembo
Like what you did there for strength. These pedal boxes seem to be a nightmare.

I have all this to come by the looks of it. I have an OBP universal kit car type pedal box to go in, as i am pushing the seat back to the B pillar. Sounds like its going to be fun!
Project looks great, will kee my eyes open for progress for sure.
There seems to be some quality build going on for sure, I hope mine can be classed that way one day.
Not sure I'd class anything I've done as quality but thanks!! hahaha
The mounting of the pedal box was a pain!! I think I could have got it hard against the bulkhead and in hindsight that's what I would have done. Get the top of the pedal box hard on the bulkhead and then make your brackets and stuff around that, one other issue to think of is the steering wheel, if you go hard against the B pillar then there's a highly likelyhood that your wheel will be too far away!! As for bleeding, bench bleed it fully and then repeat once it's in the car, make sure that the rest of the braking system stays the same as in discs and pads that worked on the old M/c that way you know any issues are with the pedal box and you're not chasing around the car.
As for progress today, BOOM got it bled somehow and even managed an MOT!!!!
So just some tax and we're road legal and ready to go. Prague on Tuesday for 2 weeks and then fingers crossed we can get a day in with Iain before he starts his new job!!
Team Shonky Vauxhall will be resuming regular service shortly.
