My niece has a 10 reg Clio. The th headlamp blew. We couldn't see any way to replace it. I rang the main dealer. They told me that they couldn't tell me how to do it, but their service dept could swap it for me. Now it is illegal to drive with a faulty headlamp, and if you drive in france, where the Clio is made, you actually have to carry a full set of bulbs..... so they still wouldnt tell me how to do it. So i told my brother that i couldnt fix it and why. He rang the dealer and got put thru to the boss.... 1 bollocking later and we were told to remove the bumper. There should be a European law about this. It should take no more than a minute to swap a headlamp bulb.

All the cars mentioned are a pita to fit headlamp bulbs to but every one including the clio are done by myself and my boss on a daily basis with no need for bumper removal,yes they are fiddly to do but i do them every day at work so I suppose I'm just used to it.

i remember driving one when they first came out, i was about 21 and i changed down to 3rd to overtake a lorry and the thing spun the wheels and tried to spit me off the road!!!.....booooooosstttttttt!!!!

I work about 100 yards from a primary school so i know exactly what you mean. Most of them are absolutely dog rough too...you could count on one hand the mums you would actually shag...well the ones you would admit to wanting to shag anyway
