Sadly due to the trade being up and down I've had my hours cut a bit again. Used to be 8 till 5:30 M-F.

I do 8:30 till 5 Mon to Friday and 8 till 1 on every other sat.

They cut all over till off to unless its a mega have to do it. But like above, if i'm still out after 5 for whatever reason, i get paid for it.

Standard for me is 8-4:30 Monday to Friday in the quiet periods, although just recently its gone mad again, so can be up to a minimum of 50 hours in the office on site 60-70 including travel.

Plus I get to see the UK, have been all over and abroad, Norway, Dubai, Washington.

Flexi time - my "usual" hours are 640 til 1500 but I regularly work beyond that. Think the most I did was an application design project that was 0640 - 1900 then carried on when I got home til about midnight. For a couple weeks lmfao

Problem with flex is its great to be able to take a day here or there but it stops you getting paid overtime. In reality most of us here get so up on flex we either lose it or forget about it

I refuse to do on call though!

I had flex at MBDA, they were dicks and didn't understand how it worked... eg if I really wanted to, I could do the 37.5 hours Mon-Tuesday and not come in the rest of the week, but that would cost more time than you'd worked... Ummmm NO. So in the end I used to cook the books and have a week off but I'd book 5 Fridays off instead to keep more holiday in the bag so when I left or needed time off for interviews I was up
