The paint has no hardener it flashes off like solvent and dries with a matt finish when you apply the 2k lacquer this give the gloss finish and the 2k lacquer is mixed with a hardener, I'm no expert in spray painting, I think you can buy standard colours called gloss colours these contain no metalic flakes etc and these paints are mixed with hardener and leave a very shinny gloss finish that requires no lacquer, mine is a metalic paint so it needed to be done the basecoat/clear coat way

Small sandblasting cabinet filled with kids play sand, the play sand has to be bone dry, I did have it filled with glass bead but it's too soft for the heavy stuff, also my compressor is a bit weak for running it only 25l, so it does take a but of time to get a good finish, I usually have to cover the really dirty bits with oven cleaner and give them a power wash before blasting

Striped the back seats today, Gona respray the backs and frames with 2k black gloss and going to vax the material
