Being a blood donor, I get regular checkups of blood pressure, pulse and iron content (hemoglobine I believe it's called). Person in charge of testing me said "your pulse is a bit low at 52 bpm, do you do a lot of cardio training?" I: "errr no, I like to work out as little as possible". He: "well in that case you might want to have a doctor check you over".

Went to the doctor this morning. He did some checks (stethoscope, blood pressure, the lot) and said all is very well. Good job, time for a drink.

This is probably sad to most people but my breathable car cover arrived so hopefully this will protect the new paint on the Nova instead of using crappy dust sheets

Not today but a few days ago my passenger door fell off the top hinge on my van With all the welding done with the doors off I hadn't fitted the check strap or retaining clips so the pin worked its way loose and dropped out

The 2.0 100hp mk6 is the best one to have so I'm afraid I'd lose that race plus I have loads of new metal so you have a weight advantage
