No idea, hopefully built and dyno'd soon, then fitted when I get the time.
Sort of, I doubt I'l drive it much, but it would be hard to change back from the way it looks now anyway. Since buying the GTE I have realised that track cars needn't be expensive, or pretty. It's too much of a bastard child to race, so it isn't really going to have a place other than occasional road use.
Sorry to disappoint.

It should look like a reasonably tidy road going car if you chuck some glass windows back in it. Just a bit mental under the bonnet![]()
Having it dyno'd and run in out of the car!! I wanted to do that with my new engine but means having mine off the road so I can use the throttle bodies and exhaust.
Sadly track cars are built to take abuse.

Quite like yourself Benn I wouldn't feel too comfortable aimlessly hooning it around a track just to impress a crowd. I have an ITB'd Astra GTE to do that in with a fraction of the money in it. Ironically that would probably wipe the floor with the Nova too.
The plan is to go circuit racing next year, so trackday's are off the cards anyway.
That's what has really stopped me doing it again as much as i would love too. Looking back at old videos, my lap times where better and i drove much faster.. As i didn't worry about the car as much then as i do now.
So totally understandable when you've sunk money in to it like you have.
Astra is a full on set up track car, so perfect for it and would be perfect for circuit racing too.
