Head Gasket Bore

What's the maximum bore on a C16SE head gasket? Ideally I need one 81mm at least?

Can a X18XE1 gasket be used on an 8v block?

Been told that a cometic one for a C16XE (16v) won't work on an 8v, otherwise it'd be ideal as it's a 82mm bore.

nope, an x18xe1 won't. the e16se/c16se one should be ok. and as the c16xe is based on the c16se, its gasket should be identical

X16 gasket needs extra hole drilling I just put 8v gasket over cometic 16v one and pillar drill through slowly. It's been spot on!
