Basically swept fittings result in smooth oil flow, whereas cast fitting result in a disrupted oil flow...

Ah i see what you mean, yes a curved one is much better.. but think of GM fittings, then arnt.

I have these on all of my pressure lines.

Any chance of a link? They look better than what i have on at the mo.

I did the air filter move for a empty bay over function. I run a cooler on this as the Let gets the oil hotter due to the turbo... That's the only reason. Never did on my xes.

On Sat i cracked on, got the arch all cleaned and move the lines and refitted.
Pete and Dan came over as Pete has tracking gauges, so we set the tracking up. Got it straight and i took it down the road... All ok... took it around the block, all ok.. Took it down the road, tried to bate a Porsche who didn't wanna play.
All ok bar the steering feels very light. Which was abit odd.

Check the tracking and give it a little tow. This time Dan took it out.. Pulled off the drive, tyre pulled the oil off again as he pulled away! FUNK!
pull back on drive, as we do the rack pops out again. Frigging thing.
So i spent Sunday stripping the rack out again.

Really not liking the car at the mo.

eBay item number 380831402509 ultraflow an8 fittings from torques, they do them in An10 if you prefer.

ebay item number 150840139125 m16x1.5 to An8 they do these in an10 if you prefer, check your sandwich plate take offs as they may be m18x1.5 if they are then I have the m18x1.5 to AN8 fittings here you can have for nothing

eBay item number 360886630228 an8 stainless steel braided rubber hose.

the only thing I can't help with is the fittings onto the cooler itself as i don't know what cooler you have mate but torques should stock whatever fittings you need. Very fast next day delivery too.
