    Default welding aluminium with a blow torch and rods

    is this an ok method for attaching intake tubes to flanges, for custom inlet manifolds, strengthwise ?

    anyone tried this before ?

    you can get alloy wire for migwelders

    Hello,

    It can be done but i wouldn't recomend as you wont get proper penetration in the weld. And there wouldnt be alot of strength. I would just get a proper welder to do it for you.

    Idealy you need a stick welder (tig) so its done properly.

    I did a few rocker covers with an-8 fittings for catch tanks ect with a blow torch and rods but it was no where as good as when i got my tig welder.
