My grandads 'carers'...they visit every day with the not so difficult task of checking all is well, he has taken his tablets and to warm him his dinner up. Turns out he hasnt had a proper meal since Thursday
How the **** can Toyota charge £175 for a wheel bearing? ****ing joke.
Have the old Citroën for sale on Autoscout at a bargain €300 - with a full year MoT and 3/4 tank of petrol no less!
Had some pr!ck call me the day before yesterday. Made an appointment, said he'd be at my place at 7pm. Didn't show, didn't have the courtesy to call saying he couldn't make it, whatever. Got his phone number though, so next time he calls me he'd better bring €400 (ha!) or else FOAD. Rant over.
On the upside: I've had interest from other people as well. Good job.![]()
One day I'll start a build thread. One day...
wow, I've not seen FOAD used for a really long time![]()
... surprised the car hasn't sold already
EE /orange! Bunch of nasty scammers... They use to be good, but long story short, twice now in 6 months I've had charges from "subscriptions" eg texts and clicked adverts, although I've not ever once subscribed to the services, the latest was a games service, and was £1.25 a week, before on texts received was £3 a text, I got some money back off the text company, now just called up to get my money back off this latest one, but probably just cost me the £12.00 refund in the phone call it's self..
And EE attitude to it all stinks, so much so I'm tempted to buy out my contract, sell my phone and down grade back to where I was..

we had to go to EE cos my brother thought having a smart phone would be a good idea.....
after 3 weeks of horrendous service, he rang them up. I was in the next office & heard him shout 'EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE!!!, you should be called FCUK ALL ANYWHERE' it certainly got their attention, and caused me to spit out a mouthful of tea
Well, drastic measures... I'm prepared to pay out of my contract it's going to cost a small fortune so I've got to sell my Astra and this galaxy s5 to replenish funds after.. Then I'm going back to the dark agesand some tesco 0.01p a month sim job, there's now way I'm giving them all my money for 24 months..

Update... So after making a lot of calls and talking to lots of advice places I got enough info to sort my issue out.
Call EE saying I wanted a "deadlock letter" long story short, a few people later I got a manager who has sorted it all, so now I'm paying less then half I should but get everything I still had! But I'll leave after my contract runs out.

Had a mortgage expert over the other day. Promised me a massive saving on the interest rate (down to 3.19% from 5.57%) which got me excited. This week he called, saying the bank doesn't accept his proposition (if that's the right word) for a variety of reasons and the deal is off. Yet he charged me €295 for the work involved.
I could live with that, so I paid up...
...but being the suspicious prick that I am, I called the bank and inquired about the real reason for them not accepting his proposition. Turns out he was telling porkies and had not done his homework. In fact, his calculations were riddled with grave mistakes to the point it was just funny.
Anyway I am going to get my money back (shouldn't have paid in the first place, you know what they say about hindsight and that) so watch this space. Incompetent imbeciles. And this was not the first one - over the years we've had 4 so-called mortgage experts going through our paperwork, all promising miracles and they all failed miserably at our expense. They're *******s, the lot of them.![]()
