Does this happen every year?
Just done the Ramshackle Rally in an Bentley Blower (Espace), no moneys for charity though, I'm just selfish and did it for fun! Would recommend a rally like this though, can only comment first hand on the Ramshackle but it's a right hoot travelling the continent with like minded people in less than perfect car!
The banger run is every year last weekend in August. This is because we normally do the Alps and catch it before the roads close.
I am going to look into doing this next year
