The only 3 upsides for keeping it the same colour would be
    A. its the right colour to the colour code
    B. I could paint it bits at a time, ie I could do the worse bits like the roof and bonnet, then do a side at a time. It would look a bit odd if I done that in white or red haha.

I remember went i was looking to first paint mine. I wanted black or white... A friend said to me. Why go with no colour, when there are such fantastic colours out there.... That day i set on Arden blue.

White is poo. Red is great, but there are lots of red Novas about. That grey is different and nice. If you wanna update it look at Toyota grey colours, they are really nice, heavy metalic too so pop like crazy in the sun.
All I wanted was a Pepsi, just one Pepsi
    Far from suicidal
    Still I get them tendencies
    Bringing back them memories
That I really miss when I reminisce

I have a grey A3 that's a nice grey, but still wouldn't pick it to paint my car that colour.
If I went for a none nova colour it would be MG trophy blue.

How about Lazer blue? Its a lighter metallic blue than Arden blue. That was a GM colour option on (late) GTEs and probably the rarest. I've only ever seen two of them. It'd look nice on anthracite grey wheels and decals as well.
