    I wish! actually my ring was twitching all the way up, while I was up and trying to come back down. I only did it as I was too pussy the guy next door got up first and I felt like a nob, so time to man up. Gonna go up again tomorrow to prove I've got a sack and not a cut. :-)

    I mended my roof last Saturday... some of the ridges had blown off & about a dozen tiles had cracked..
    I looked at the roof in general & decided the ladders method would possibly put me in A&E, so I went into the loft, pulled some tiles out, cut a few laths & made a suitable hole.. then I went up a stepladder & fixed the damage, screwed the laths back in & put the tiles back in their places..... I was actually boringly quite easy... and saved me several hundred quid

    just found out brithgas talked **** to me and all my gas qualifications are not null and void!!!! so I might be going back to metering and start earning some proper money again FINGERS CROSSED!

    Thats a good way to get a dormer when the planners say no
