    Default e16se crank gear

my engine was stripped awhile back and the crank gear was broken off and thrown i have recently had the engine rebuilt i bought a genuine crank gear for a e16se but it doesn't fit the crank the gear i've got has got the woodruff key in the gear but i need a different gear because the woodruff key is built into the crank has anyone got any idea what gear i would need thanks

You have the wrong type. there are several combinations. sq teeth, round teeth, female key, male key. across the family of engines. its easy to get the wrong one. The key is machined into the crank so you cant knock it out. get the correct pulley
