However, its cock waving byople boasing about what they lift in the pub or on the internet etc. Most posers will add weights and then check to see if anyones looking, they will probs do 3/4 rep sets with said weight, then get off, appear to be gasping for air, stop, look to see if anyones watching and then tense in the mirror.
    ****ing w4nkers.
I have seen that in various gyms across different areas.
I have seen lads get to gym,do 3 sets of bench press on a Friday night as im leaving, then get ready for a night out in changing rooms so they look pumped.
    Pathetic
And dumbbell presses are much better as it takes more to hold the form, thus it being more effective. But then you don't look as good doing them as the dumbells aren't usually in the "big man area"
Now i went last night, it seemed to be very busy with poser like people. Alot of guys lifting heavyish weights in front of the mirror, which annoyed me as i wanted to lift what i do. Then i noticed alot of them where doing a max of 5 reps.. Once guy was watching me as i do 10 reps, then jump up 2KG, 10 reps then down one KG, 10 reps then up 2more KG, till my muscles burn, so i do an intense workout so to speak..
When i moved away, i could just see him. Still with the heavier weight, do his 5 reps. Then stand a flex (he wasn't big enough to flex) in the mirror while looking in my direction. I couldn't help but laugh.

Girl and guy next to me on the bikes where both on facebook the whole time... But i was watching Top Gear while on a bike tho.. hahaha
All I wanted was a Pepsi, just one Pepsi
    Far from suicidal
    Still I get them tendencies
    Bringing back them memories
That I really miss when I reminisce

Watching stuff is ok,there were tellys on the cross trainers at my gym.
I just done see the point in going if ya gonna just text away the whole time ya there.
LOL at the flexers. Its things like this that make it intimidating for new members etc imo.I wish I could've filmed this melt a few weeks ago on a lat pulldown machine, him and his very impressionable mate spent an entire hour on it for some reason.
Matey kept walking past the mirror with his hands on his waist like he was doing the teapot dance.Fukking idiot!!

I don't miss 'commercial' gyms at all. i used to go to DW and it was full of ****ers all the time...now I go to a boxing gym, ok fair enough its biased towards a particular sport but intense and varied workouts with a trainer. No time for posing etc just a everyone encourages everyone atmosphere

Another jolly out on the bikes this morning on a local loop, few nice hard climbs, twisty singletrack and some really fast fun descents, 20 personal records set (obviously getting faster) and took my grand total up to 900 miles ridden this year since the beginning of summer!

I came across a game at a car boot sale that I use to have as a kid. HeroQuest. I had a look at it and walked off, I looked on ebay to see the cheapest one on buy it now for £50 so I went back and asked how much they wanted. He said "10p" so Had to have it really. I started looking at it and it turns out its pretty much all there and there is and extra add on game with it. One of the men are broken (iv just glued him back together) the red dice are missing and 1 little card scenery pice is missing. Just looked on eBay and the £50 one sold today.

I know what you mean, I do thai boxing and there is no time to look at your self in the mirror, unless you are looking at your cut or black eye to see if you can carry on .
