    Passed my reach forklift truck licence!! That's now scissor lifts, cherry pickers and booms, and manual handling. Just the counterbalance flt tomorrow to complete the set.

    Add to that a job interview tomorrow morning and things are looking up!! Fingers are crossed!!!

    If it's muscular pain it's all good. I'm very disappointed if I'm not sore the next day after a workout.

    of course they are looking up, its forklift driving

    have you learnt any polish??? cos there are warehouse jobs round here where it's a must!!!!!

    I used to love the scissor lift drag race and the derv powered one was loud as **** and won every Friday It was a call centre so everyone was on one, those were the building site days

    we always preferred dumper truck races...

    i actually passed another 6t dumper fully loaded whilst doing a 360 spin on a wet grass field in a torrential rainstorm...

    there was one job in loughborough where the cladders scissor lift was pressed into service purely to spot pretty young ladies walking down the road from the local college.. the lad was sent up full height, and had to sound the klaxon if any were approaching...
