i was on the support crew for my mate to do the 3 peaks challenge last year. he had massive blisters several weeks before the event trying to get used to his boots.. i told him to smash several shades out of the heel with a hammer to soften them, but he didn't.. he was in agony for ben nevis & scafell pike & we ended up not even managing to do snowdon, cos he was in so much discomfort..
i can wear a pair of hard boots with no trouble, cos i've been wearing boots every day since about mid 1995, yet i wouldn't put a pair of them on & use them
Fish and chips from Miners in Morley, best in the world, massive portions and cheapest I know of too
Hearing an advert on the local radio station today, trying to raise driver awareness for cyclists and explaining why cyclists ride in the middle of the lane at junctions and in narrow roads/lane
About bloomin time they did something as many drivers attitudes towards riders is disgusting!
And yes i know before anyone says it, there are many many arrogant tossers who ride bikes and give us all a bad name, but there are just as many muppets behind the wheel as behind the bars imo![]()
Theres miles more muppets behind bars imo.Thats where they belong
Simple is there are faults on both sides Spud.
