    Not quite arrived in the post, but this landed at Keif Towers today.



    Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM.

    Just to give you a idea of size, fitted to the body.

    Far from cheap even though I got a very good deal, but worth it, only used it round the house and it's FAR better then the two kit lenses I have (18-55mm and 55-250mm)

    Probably should have waited before buying. I'm treating my self from a bonus from work, would have cost 1/6th of the total. Only been paid 1/12th of it which works out to 1/20th after tax. Oops!

    The wife said that when I told her I wanted one 18+ months ago, and I agreed.

    Will be at Siverstone on the 29th for the BTCC, so will have to wait what it's like when used for what I bought it for.
