Nice work Craig! I know what you mean about the pedal box now! have had to move my seat rails back and remake my steering column mounts to bring it forward!

Had another crack at it today, got covered in **** again, but pleased to say the underseal is all off now.

Rear chassis rails are also cleaner than I expected, Could do with some longer springs now though as I have added around 3" travel.
Overall quite a result. I was told the underseal could be hiding a multitude of sins, but found none, so my faith in the shell has been proven.
I know it needs rear arches, as a few years ago I fitted the skirts to cover some poor repairs to the lower rears, so just bought 2 repair panels. Kind of not sure wether to fit them and paint the whole car, or to get it running and give it a good shakedown first?
More soon. Next job I think is to drill and riv-nut the floor for the swirl pot, pumps, passenger footrest and extinguisher's before spraying the underseal.
Undersides are very nice and clean and looking good. Love the rear pic too. Car is looking great.
Id say do the arches first, then rebuild, then you can get the the inner arches and stuff and there will be less masking and bits.

Yeah I've had to do the same as what you've done, but I'm 6,ft 1 so needed adjustment where the seat rails were
Did a bit more on the old girl today, Feeling quite motivated at the moment.
Fitted a block and box.
Then a head and balanced the oil tank in place.
Didn't bother with the bodies as they are miles away from what I was checking.
The idea was to make up some mounts for the oil tank I bought. Its a Patterson easy clean from the states, a really nice bit of kit. Obviously used, but for the price I paid it was a no brainer. Its a great shape and fits where I want it just fine.
The tank came with some nifty side mounts,
So knocked up a bracket to hang it from the firewall.
That turned out a bit flimsy so did a bit of CAD.
Sorted (but forgot to take a pic). Loads of clearance, and all bolts easily accessible.
And as a comparison against a 500ml bottle, as I know it looks small, but its really not, should hold at least a gallon in the tank itself.
That's enough for this weekend, would like to maybe incorporate the other bracket I have on the lower section, but that obviously means making another mount so we'll see.
Next job, sort out the direct to turret gear shifter.
