The fact i woke up this morning knowing that tomorrow i get to come home and enjoy 20 degrees less heat and my own bed. Been in menorca for the last week and its 'averaged' 35-40 degrees all week and dipping just below 30 during the night times, which for someone who has never left blighty before is massively hot

dan, i went there one summer.... eff me it was hot then too... there was a massive construction project about a mile away from the hotel & you'd hear them start work at 11pm......
the thing that i remember most about the place was Cala en Bosch....yup it was full of germans on sun loungers, and the snack food stalls sold large sausages, sauerkraut etc... the other highlight was my mrs getting very tipsy in the gin factory at mahon...
Setting a personal record on a short but particularly nasty rooty climb whilst out riding this morning, a few months ago i couldnt even ride up it, although im still fat and i drink a lot, my stamina and fitness is clearly improving
