Awesome mate, so what's your future plans? Pick trackdays with less top end straights, or more power and torque in the form of another engine or more mods?

    Thanks a lot!

I plan to upgrade the engine. I'm thinking about new forged pistons, steel rods, cams and a new TB setup from jenvey or sbdev. Would be nice to have around 170-180bhp.

Grip wise i think i'm competitive enough, maybe some aerodynamics at the back to gain a more stable rear end.

For this year im very happy with the results and next Trackday is coming soon

Today i removed the front lights because on the track you don't need headlights and they're simply to heavy.

Then i wrapped them in cling film...

...and made a mould with gypsum bandages reinforced with aluminium tubes.

    Final mould for right headlight

to prevent them from braking i protected them with a layer of fiberglass

next to do: make fiberglass replacements for the headlights

    Nice weight saving idea.
All I wanted was a Pepsi, just one Pepsi
    Far from suicidal
    Still I get them tendencies
    Bringing back them memories
That I really miss when I reminisce

Then you can give more fresh air to the engine

I like the progression with learning to keep the revs up higher at mid / corner entry throughout the videos / day.

Bet those slicks feel heavy having to shuffle the wheel at over a g. Would you consider faster steering?

I'll do my my best not just to improve my car but me as well
The slicks are a real pain in combination with the quick rack and steering geometry, after 20 mintues my arms started to hurt i definitely have to get myself a Corsa C electric power steering!

    Shedding weight!

First i used my freshly made mould to create a fiberglass Headlight replacment

    released from mould

after that some body filler and sanding.

    Original headlight weights 1172 gramms

and my fiberlass replacement with applied color and clear coat: 114 gramms

That's 2 Kilos removed from the front

my fiberglass items can be mounted to the original pickup points.

As a contrast I'm quite pleased with the white "headlights"

...now searching for other parts that can be replaced with fiberglass

That's a really professional look you've achieved there; can you not get some dark mesh for the bumper & maybe a sun strip?

So you are already on a Kwik rack; if you want faster steering you could invert the steering arms and / or increase the castor.

The thing that impresses me most is the speed and rate you have developed and done all this progress..
