Thought I'd add a quick update..... Sadly billing has been and gone for another year but I hope you enjoyed what you saw! Myself and the missus had a great time and the car performed faultlessly all the way their and back which I was quite proud of given I've never probably done more than a 30 mile round trip since I've owned it! It was great to speak to some of you I already know and to also put a few new faces to usernames also! Trawling the forums recently I've found some rather nice pics that put my camera and skills to shame so thought I'd add them in here. Big thanks to those responsible for them!...
Very pleased with the above shots at they give the car a little more justice than my pics! Many did say to me that it was much better in the metal so I was happy at that. Also a couple I've just got from Mark of us on route home.....
A few days after during an after billing cleaning session I had a stragler turn up.....
Was good to see Matt and the old girl again as its been a while. However it just made my car look so bland! On another note however I did acquire my first ever parts from the auto jumble at billing! Some ever elusive mk1 parcel shelf supports that I was made aware if by a few other members have been acquired so cheers for the help their. Once I've tarted them up I will fit them so I can use the mint parcel shelf I have waiting as it was the only thing I didn't like about my car whilst it was on show. It will probably be a while until the next update now so cheers for billing comments and hope you enjoyed the brief read and pics.
