Very very happy to say it isn't at all. The ride is no different in hardness/crashieness.

So i've been working on a Pillar pod, as i hated having the boost gauge just sat in the speaker van, so untidy.

Really wanted it to be flush mounted in to the pillar trim, but i found cutting the A pillar wasn't easy and it still wouldn't of fitted nicely. Tried a few mounts... Nothing was right.
Then Mr South linked me too a proper heater mounted plastic pod and they do direct Nova fitment. So ordered one up. So start prep work on the trim.. As i had cut a hole in it..

    Plastic work bit back in...

    Refit and mark for fitment.

Screw pod on, lining up marks..

Then i used a 2pac glue. As i didn't want any screws of anything showing as i want it a flush as poss.

Smooth it into edge (that is important later on..)

Having cut of my trimming, i tried to rewrap it..

    Test fit.

View when sat in drivers seat...

Test fitted my new Stack gauge, saw them in someones car and fell in love with them Bit more money, but they look so hott!

    Outside view... (crap photo)

Going back to wanting it smooth... Cause of that i had to plastic weld in the push clip at the top..

Due to the shapes and my anger at wrapping it, i had it flocked.

Smooth join... See why i did it now?

    Wiring for the light..

Was fitted for PVS, so some of you might have noticed.
    Finished job.

    Very bad photo... Sorry.

    Lights on.

Do love these Stack gauges... Look so lush.
