I like this one, but I would as it's mine! A few people asked me if I'd take it down the strip, but as it's geared for rolling starts (will do 85 in 1st), it doesn't get off the line very well, and is more likely to turn sideways into either the barrier or the other lane, and if someone was willing to pay for a new clutch pack......
My favourite Novas on the day were the brown loon - very tidy, the pearl green/blue one - love the colour, and the Bulgarian black beasty!!
I had a walk down to your area, a few nice cars there.
Also good to see Bernie out with his Hot Hatch showing that you didn't need a V6 to do a sub 15s quarter (in fact the V6 powered jobs seemed to be struggling to do UNDER 15 seconds!!). 14.601 was his fastest from the massive amount of 138hp!!
The Bulgarian beasty was very very quick, considering it had to be rebuilt just days before the show and was down on power. Sounded awesome.
I was hoping to be at Trax, but have other things on that weekend. Who knows, next year I might have my Nova back in one piece.
Was that Pontiac there on Saturday? Missed that
