I was... Circa 1999/2000? Pretty sure I remember rami driving in on the Sunday of the weekend car show at York. Think it was the same year phil won best engine bay? Brett and Martin were also their too with both cars in original guises.

I'm pretty sure you were but I may have the years muddled..... People were all talking about the obscene speeds Brett had supposedly achieved on the m62! Ramis car looked tidy in pics but wasn't the best up close iirc! I remember quite well as it was one of my first shows that I had a car on a stand.... Was a very nice white gsi rep with an c20xe running rather low on avo coilovers/soft stars.

So its still on J20 NOV, thought you or someone you know had had gotten that plate or was it your old J16 NOV had made a reapperance.

Yeh J20 NOV is on Sorn at the mo until 13/10/13 so must still be on car. I was trying to find the whereabouts of my J16 NOV plate as i would love to have the plate back for a future project!

White gsi on 17in monzas in the back ground of that picture belonged to Simon tickle always liked that one was a local car to me nothing fancy just a standard gsi lowered but looked well mine ended up very similar

He does indeed.... It was sat up at Andys for a while after they took the motor out for rebuild purposes. It's now back with Karl ready for the motor to go back in as well as a few small changes last I heard.
