building a new fence, propper bit of graft for a change, been a while aswell bg work was making me propper lazy

If your putting in new posts get the £15 post hand tool drill from toolstation

there crap, if your putting in a 4x4" post they only give you 1" around it, thats not going to keep the post there for years, also they rely on the ground being pure soil almost, when in reality the ground you need a hole if always full of massive stones

2 foot of post in the ground with hard ground with be fine, if the grounds soft then that's your problem
