i think you'll find that you have just mentioned www.trafficwardens.com/forum
some idiot (who works for us) convinced my brother that our 3 tonne dumper's diesel engine was totally shagged....replacements run at 1500 quid....it was smoking like a papal election & pissing fuel out. so i steam cleaned it.... found the 2 leak off pipes that were split, one by the above idiot....then replaced them for £4. i also readjusted the throttle & stop controls, and it doesn't smoke anymore.
feck off.. it was a social comment, and not some 70's joke, which somehow managed to predate the internet by a couple of decades......
football is loved by billions of people... anyone can have a kick about.
hatred of football comes in many forms. getting picked last & stuck in defence, or even worse, in goal, just cos the lads who the teacher has chosen as captains have put their mates in all the best positions is one of them. i was fairly short and scrawny as a kid & our school had a full size adult pitch ffs...and hated it with a passion
in later life, getting annoyed at the premiership sucking the money out of the game & watching over ambitious clubs self destruct in a vain attempt to get there is fairly depressing, especially if it is your local team... i live between leicester & coventry, its a pretty ropey outlook for footy fans.
then having a national team that simply can't manage to get some of the world's best players to play as a team is enough to make any rational person lose faith in the sport.

Tbh I hate most sports that doesn't involve fuel.
I'd rather smell petrol fumes than sweaty balls
I played right back or right wing by choice.
Blame Sky for destroying the game we love. Since the formation of the Premier League, it has all been going down hill.
Someone needs to remind them that football existed before them and 1992.
We don't have it easy either. I follow a massive club, historically, and we have been starved of any significant silverware since nine years before I was born.
I have seen them relegated four times too. Three of which I vividly remember.
Sky-boys long for the day their club is bought as a play thing by oil-rich Arabs. I want nothing of the sort.
IMO, my club tries hard to stay accessible to those who help it exist, us. So many clubs have sold their souls, which is a shame.
MOTD and TFLS show shortly. I wouldn't turn on BBC1 after 22:20, maddog.![]()
