    Being paid to buy diesel.

I messed up after changing the fuel filter on my Mondeo. I filled the new filter, but just started the car through the open window - no way of holding the revs higher than idle.
It ran for a few seconds then died. Tried to restart and got nothing.

So I filled a jerry can at the petrol station. Paid with a tenner, expecting £3.50 change or so, and instead got £13.50.

    Thank you please!

    Cheeky c**t.
All I wanted was a Pepsi, just one Pepsi
    Far from suicidal
    Still I get them tendencies
    Bringing back them memories
That I really miss when I reminisce

Nah. Halfords ****e. Too tempting when I have a trade card.
Not as cheap (and nasty) as the ones on ebay mind.

How much are the Ford ones? This was £24 retail. £18 trade. Still a lot imo.

I just read tonight that some TDCI's don't like non-OE filters.

    Oh.

It sometimes cuts out when in 5th/6th at low revs. Like on cruise and encountering a bank, when ideally it should be in a lower gear.
Doesn't do it that often, but it's a minefield of possibilities working out what is at fault.
Seems to be low fuel pressure shutting off the pump.

My money is on injectors needing cleaned. Too much supermarket fuel.

It first happened about 10 miles from home with an empty car trailer and a 1K mile journey ahead to get my Escort/stuff for my mates MR2.
Should have seen his face when I said I was still going.
