If you haven't already (it doesn't look like it from the video) turn on 'Spot Metering' on the GoPro.
If it ain't broke don't fix it? Always a bit intimidating to play with something that works, but tracking something that you find fun sounds like the way forwards
I just *HAVE* to play with things myself I'll probably never get near the limits of mine because I'll be changing things left right and centre
Always been confused by this thinking tbh, see it all the time, yet, you can put 100lb springs on and valve coilovers accordingly... How is an installation method, too hard?
Cheers Iain, Phunky mentioned that a page or two back. That was the reason for taking the vid... Ado do you have yours set at 30fps to narrow the field of view.
As for the lift off, I was using 5/10% throttle so there wasn't much I could lift off. Also the slide started mid corner (before you notice it on the vid) so the change in throttle could me reacting to the slide. Also surprised no one has commented on my over correction.
And bare in mind the road was untreated, barely one 0 degrees C and the tires still are uber new.
Whoops sorry skimmed through the pages but didn't see anything to do with GoPro settings.
Just checked and I'm running mine at 720@25fps and wide FOV. Couple of reasons, I'm using old laptops to edit them (too pikey to buy a new one), they only ever get uploaded to Youtube and I like to have smaller file sizes so I can fit a sensible size memory card and not worry about running out of space on a track day.
Ok unless you want to spend more money on coilovers than the car is worth then they are the wrong route imo.
I'm not sure what coilovers you were thinking, but most/many people seem to run Gaz, who will spring and valve a set to your specifications, even set body lengths as per Benns. I don't think a trackday or 2 worth of cash (4-500 for GHA's) is a huge investment for a track car myself? Depends really what kind of budgets you're working to I guess, but then suspension and tyres will net you the most gains (in terms of performance and/or enjoyability of the car).
