    Stuart iirc KHS were always understated bikes, well made, good frames and well specced too

    I'll have about 3-400 to spend. prob best going for second hand i reckon, but i'm too out of touch with bikes to know whats "good" anymore. Ps i'm fat and middle aged so won't be doing ay sort of mad stuff

    Tbh you'd be fine on a specialised hardrock (hydraulic discs), I know I said I've found limitations on it, but that's partly due to the wrong size more than anything.
