Sorry but in this day and age if you cant respond to an email your not going to get very far. It was far easier to send an email explaining what i wanted with measurements ect than it was to say it all and try to explain it all over a phone.
If the only type of business you want to do is over the phone then dont have a contact form on your website and dont bother having an email address at all.
Emailed a different company this afternoon and they emailed me back 20 mins later and got 1500 quids worth of work from me.
My email address is on my business cards and i wouldnt dream of ignoring a single email as its led to loads of work.Half of these companys have people sat around doing **** all anyway in the office,probably too busy on faceache or twitter to take 5 mins to reply.

we used to have a contact form on our firms website. and we regularly had emails go missing. so we had them take it off & let people find our email address & use their own methods of contact.
