I've not yet tried them tbh mate, so no idea

I think they just fit under the original ones so the spring is slightly more compressed

i recently had and sold a front valance just like yours. first pic ive seen of one actually fitted to a nova though. very rare!

i have a set of irmscher wheels on the spider that would look better on yours i think. not sure if im going to part with them yet though!

Really? I've not heard of the barrel lining. It that a Nova barrel fitted?

As I want it looking oe, it's a fiddley nightmare

Ahh so the top mount sits on to of that, just replacement of the oem black ones..

Had a look earlier, looks that way

My only concern is that the OE ones have bearings pressed in iirc?
Guess I need to get the struts off and have a proper look

The cap overall height is shallower than the old one. It completely replaces the old spring retaining cap effectively shortening the top mount assembly.
