i add in a mild curry paste to the oil and mix it in,then coat all the chips in it and oven cook them.
Makes them golden brown and with a little,but not overpowering kick of curry flavour.
that sounds pretty good. i'll try that. then i'll probably have to change the oil in the fryer, cos my lot are right fine mouthed so & so's
It is nice,i just use the pataks stuff.A heaped teaspoonfull is enough for enough chips for us 4.
For the proper way i would imagine you might well need more.
ah.. my bad, i didn't see the 'O' word.... i can't bring myself to have chips that are not fried... it just seems wrong

As said though,its gotta work the same,i would just coat the chips in neat paste then,and then add to the frier??
