do you have any plans for further insulation of the garage door??
is the door at the top of the stairs an external or internal type door?
is the ceiling of the 'tilly' room insulated?
i ask cos a mate of mine bought a house with an integral garage & the house was incredibly cold. we discovered the garage ceiling & walls weren't insulated & the garage-house door was an internal one. it cost him a few bob, but after insulating & swapping the door, his heating costs dropped massively.

Also have you got a link to where youve got your floor tiles from please, as I'm thinking about getting some for my garage once it's done
