Drove 2 and a half hours for a car described as VGC and original just required a little TLC what I was faced with was a rot box with a different engine, shady paint job etc etc

Bought the wife an iPod. Wanted a 16GB Nano, and found one at the going price on a Buy it Now.

It arrived this morning, and i've just plugged it in, and it's "only" an 8GB iPod.

Contacted the seller and part of their reply is "I believe even being an 8gb it is still worth what u paid"

    Urm......how?

Exactly. Would they have advertised an 8GB one for the same price.....no.
Was it listed around the same price other 16GB iPods....YES.

Saying that I have a few 8GB as options in my watch list for around £20 less than I paid for this mis-advertised one.

That is an option. The seller has said for me to post it back (at my cost) and issue a full refund.

If I put a claim in, surely eBay will only say the same.

My preferred resolution is for them to just refund me the difference for the missing 8GB, which they offered before changing there mind and offered me the full refund.

    *Edit*
It's looking like eBay will be sorting it. They've not offered me a full refund, just a refund for the item and not postage. Then they can't understand why my answer is no.
sad thing is, if I put a claim in now, i'll not be able to anymore with it for over a week, as i'll have no internet access. So it'll have to wait til next week.
