well first interview in nearly 8 years so first practice done.

then a cop probably had a family member lined up for it & they only put it out to interviews to make the paperwork look right..

could never work out how this one bloke i use to work with got on all the upskills training courses, became a coach and is now in manager training, until we all found out his uncle is a top manager at bg
guy was useless aswell, even with all his training he still couldn't do the most basic of jobs, would always be calling all the specialists on patch to work out how to do a job he was qualified to do

seriously, the public sector is finding it tough at the moment simply because they've had so much money thrown at them by the last govt, which they wasted on tons of useless things, and the well is now dry, so even though a fair few people are leaving the sector to retire, there aren't the positions being left..
its quite common, especially if you ask them to tell you why....

re the manager... its known as the brittas(brittas empire tv show) effect.. someone in a job at a large organisation is barely adequate at their job, but just good enough to not get sacked.... someone puts them forward for a promotion to a different dept simply to get rid of them, and it then happens again.... the problem is that eventually someone gets a top job by this method....
Over a month ago a nice Polish gent hit our car while we were parked in maccy d's carpark enjoying a big mac. We went through a 3rd party claim company as advised by our insurance, we got a courtesy car, car got fixed and we thought that was the end of it. Now we get a call saying the claim is being disputed, and he says we reversed out the space into him.Conveniently this is over a month since the incident so am guessing there will be no Cctv to back up our story and this will go down as a 50/50.
Pissed off doesn't come close to describing how angry I am right now!
