The worst of it though has to be the very thought that someone would claim from Kris Kringle himself, were they unfortunate enough to have a yuletide mishap.
The bloke goes out of his way to not only oversee (and I am sure on occasion, muck in) with his own in-house, bespoke manufacturing process, and then delivers the resulting products to each and every one of us, and all for free, and these rip-off monsters now demand he pays insurance - for roads he doesn't even use no less.

The fact my company is paying some so-called 'engineer' £60+ an hour to change the Y-axis ballscrew support bearing on a CNC machine who has been here since 10:40 and still hasnt done. Worst thing was he was asking me what wanted doingI could have had the job done in 45 minutes

Finding out it takes more than turning up for work to drive a 32t wagon smelling of booze to get sacked at my new job. Guess I should be happy I won't be out of a job anytime soon, but I was looking forward to all the nice overtime I was gonna earn covering him...![]()
