    £400 for set of the best ones on the market at the moment here in Czech down to £200 for a ok set

    I see it like this, if you have one accident due to the snow then it is either going to cost £250 excess plus increase in premiums in the following years or a big bill at the dealer having a new leg, wheel, bearing etc fitted and a wheel aligment. I would rather spend the money on something I can keep, an investment than paying out for repairs.

    They will be used for about 4-5 months, they are not just for snow, they are good in wet weather to help avoid aquaplaning. This means 4-5 months less wear on her summer tyres each year and helps keep her M-Sport rims tidy aswell.

    Ive got a big huge ten tonne diesel engine up front. More then enough weight to keep things skipping off the road.

    Only reason I ever crashed in the snow was because I was driving like a boss. Didnt release there was kerb stone hiding under a pile of snow & subseqently snapped a shock absorber in half on the old 12 volt. That was in Stoke aswell actually
