There trigger stops mate, so they don't go all the way in also if you look just next to the triggers there is little grub screws, to adjust the triggers in to find "the sweet spot"

Seeing as the wife's BMW has the driving on snow ability similar to that of Bambi on ice I decided to go un the hunt for some winter wheels and tyres.
BMW wanted £450 for a set of steels with non runflat winters at trade price so thought I would try an alternative.
After a stroke of luck I managed to get four brand new winter Pirelli run flats for £235 a set, that for a tyre that usually costs a minimum of £110 each! Just needed to find some wheels.
After doing a 200 mile round trip to pick up some supposedly excellent used rims I had bought for £235 on Ebay they turned out to be virtually scrap!!! After telling the bloke where he could stick his wheels and politely advising him he had just wasted half my day & £30 of fuel I was back on the hunt. Got home, 2 mins on Ebay and found a delivery mileage set of rims, and the best bit, they were listed by one of our suppliers for £200 start price. Rang em Monday and got them for £160 cash(Not sure how that worked but I am not one to moan) and delivered by parts van...

Not quite as pretty as the M Sport rims she has fitted but nicer than a set of steels for winter
Got the tyres fitted today so all set for winter for less than £400
