Somebody calls to look at car I have for sale, turned up at the agreed time to look. Says he wants it, agree a price and then he says he will go home to get the money and a lift back to collect.
That was 1.5 hours ago and he lives 5 minutes away

He was spot on, called me today and turned up exactly when he said he would. Asked sensible questions, made a fair offer and seemed really positive. I will call him tomorrow and see what he says, hopefully nothing bad has happened.
Can't stand, and will never understand people like that. What car is it?

This exactly, there is a high chance he has come to weigh up your security arrangements, see whether it is garaged, alarmed and such, id hide it/box it in tonight and take the keys upstairs with you or hide them!!
