Gutted on the bottom pully, i had same problem. i mashed an oversized coscast in the process, think every valve had a 90 degree bend on them. 7k in second gear when it happened.

Picked up my IC today.
Ends needed a trimming. Did both ends as i wanted to remove the really tight silicone elbow.
Bloody mount, bit more trimming wanted here..
Now when i picked it up he said " i might have funked it up, but see what it looks like now cool" So i'm thinking "oh great"
The tubs aren't straight as you can see, but luckily this is better more me... As the pipes sit at different angles.
So trim a bit off,

Ah this was my hose, i've now removed the joiner and the blue end. So one more join down.
So here to here...
Mount side with the Chav valve take off fitted...
Trimmed it a bit more and move the tube abit for a better fit.

So rad in and check everything, then start it up and test drive. With PH2.

Just remember you may have got a whole load of aluminium debris into the intercooler chopping the ends of the pipe off which will then end up inside the engine when you first start it up.
So trim a bit off,
Bit more..
You may be best blowing out all the muck with an air line?
