I'm fully aware of that and also how hard those miles will be on the battery.
i think colin has been using an external jump battery..
you could under drive the alternator a bit with a larger pulley to offset the drag on the engine, or get a super expensive mag drive one that can be freewheeling at the flick of a switch, its all weight though i guess
How bad was the damage on front end will you be putting it back to mk 1
