Talk about being spoilt...
I decided that the 14" RFX's looked too small so decided I would try and find some 15" Comp MO5's and stumbled upon a set on eBay last night. They were at a start bid of £260 but I managed to get them for £240 outside of eBay. They are in mint condition with almost new tyres.

I got a cross put into the roll cage on Saturday by a good friend, but I would have liked the tops to have been a little higher (on the bend) and the bottoms a little lower, but oh well!
I shall be getting him to weld me in a rear strut brace when I can get the car over to his and also weld a couple of other bits.
I shall be getting the cage painted blue when the car goes in for paint so it should look pretty damn good.

When is the X16XE going in? I'm building one myself at the moment.
It will probably be towards the end of August / beginning of September.

You'll love your car even more when you've fit the x16xe in, the only issue might be setting the bodies up as I remember Novafusion on here buying a Nova saloon off Colin Smith that had a set fit to a C16xe and he'd failed to get it running properly.

If your painting the engine bay, might be worth stripping the seam sealer off round turrets, legs etc, mk2 love to hide rot under that sealer
I got a few more bits delivered through the post today. I've been collecting all these bits and i'm starting to get a bit impatient now, I just want to get them all fitted!

I'm not running bodies, I'm using the dbilas inlet manifold
Thanks for the advice. Would you just remove the seam sealer or apply again once checked for rust etc?
