I fitted the cheap pattern one from the bay, was well oiled but lasted a few weeks before snapping. Got a used gm one and it's still going strong.

Insignia washer jets landed today for the disastra, cant fit them yet as i need to ask Joff very nicely if i can borrow his wiper arm puller, stupid astra's and not having the same type of arms as everything else, that you can just wiggle off

Spud, you can lift the plastic scuttle panel up enough to get your hand in and remove the old jet and fit the new ones, that's how I done my Astra and my brothers Astra mk4 coupe, but then again I do have tiny hands f

The one that just landed from the bay is a 'First Line' one, same as we supply at work funnily enough, is there nothing you can do about it then?

Ive got some bearing grease for my bike thats reeaaallllyyyy light, im going to slap a load of that on the new one and swap them at weekend if its nice weather, see if that makes fix

I had to do that before i found out you need a puller for the wiper arms when we fitted my new (secondhand) wiper motor, ive got big hands and tore them to shreds fitting that

tj, they have independant motor factors in derby...... with the money you'd save from the postage, you'd have been able to buy a new nova....

    re the speedo cables...

oil is nearly as bad as wd40 on one, as they drain down. a light grease, like png's favourite, vaseline would be a decent idea, but don't ram tons of it onto the cable, just smear a bit on it & them hand turn it. any resistance & it will not last long
