I'm pretty sure my powerflex exhaust mounts have a steel cable running through them to stop them giving way if melted throug. What brand are you using?

Haha fair play! I'm hoping to get the nova up to my house this Saturday, trying to swap the engine's and get it prep'd for the Mallory on the 13th OCt if you fancy it? Trying to drag Al out to play! After driving round the Nurburgring the other week, I've got the enthusiasm to get it back on track!
