    Yeah it's worth doing imo, if you can get it started from and inline with the floorpan it gives you a chance to space frame where the fuel tank used to be, if you're not running it there.

    Although the trade off is a marked weight gain, it is where you want it. The other down side is the drag low pressure makes; I found going under the beam means a proportion of the flow, along the exhaust tunnel pushes down on the top of the diffuser and out the sides rather than under, up and out.

    Still running a fuel tank so if I were to do it it'd simply be to remove the well itself.

    me. we were discussing all this last year

    like i was saying. strap the beam, run an ally plate over the whole of the back of it. obviously you cant totally flat bottom it entirely but its a good start.
