Well tonight we have a fairly good update,

I preped the wings and bonnet.

Sure you lot can see where this is going ...

    yeapp then I painted them!

Has a few runs on the top edge and a fly but I think I have enough paint on it to Da them out and mop it up

    Runs and the fly

    Wings

Photos don't make them look that good but I have to admit everything has come out well. I am happy with it, and after a good flat back and buff it should look the dogs!

Oh and I also bolted the mount on!

My master plan is to prep the doors and tailgate tomorrow night, the doors need a lot of work though as they have a few dents! If I have enough time I want to high build them too. Then Wednesday I can flat them back and hopefully paint them white. Friday night I want to start flatting and masking etc, then put the Gazebo up. Finish everything on Saturday morning and paint! Now if this all happens I can then fit the glass and doors etc maybe Sunday night to make the car water tight.

    We will see aye!

Cheers for the positive comment Edd

Pulled the wing outside to have a good look at them,

They have come out really well so that is a good start!

    Shiney

Had a look at the bonnet and noticed I have missed the very edge on the front so as that is also the same area where the paint run I am going to practice removing the runs without going through but as I need to spray the lip again is doesn't really matter if I do

Spent A good two hours on the passenger door, rubbed it all door inside and out then applied a smear of filler to cover a few minor dents.

Flatted back, just needs the rest of the guide coat removing and its basically ready to prime.

Tailgate is ready to prime bar the spoiler holes need drilling.

Haven't started on the drivers door but I think its the best one so hopefully wont take as long. If everything goes okay everything will be in primer tomorrow night

All I can say is there is 11 and a half hours work there, the paint work does have the odd run, some fly and slight orange peal but overall I am extremely pleased with the finish. and after a quick DA/wet flat and a machine polish it should come up like glass.
