Great stuff nick.
I'd really really go for a SR 1.5 Front but that'd basically replicate Karl's I guess....!?

Loving your work again. As said, wheels look great. I like this grey over the bluer grey used on A6.
Proper eye for detail again, very good work. And you gotta paint the under side... I've been looking in to so many different spray waxes to help keep things clean too...
All I wanted was a Pepsi, just one PepsiFar from suicidalStill I get them tendenciesBringing back them memories
That I really miss when I reminisce

Great work mate !

This is going to loom fantastic! 6.5 x 16 et49 with 195/45/16 tyres cleared the std rear arches on my sri.... just (as i was running alessio 2's in that size, but i suppose the beam mounts tolerance, or lack of it comes into play)
The bodywork done looks great,! For the grey, Is it a matting agent you add to the lacquer? As ive seen them before, but have yet to try them.

Looking good Nick
You should consider a Z18XE turbo![]()

Me too! I imagine they'd suit a mk2 better but Im sure they'll look good once its quite low.
Cheers dude, the colour is the same as I used on A6VXL though! Lol. Underside is one for the future though deffo.
Thanks fella!
Cheers! I'll be happy with a phase two c20let. If I wanted to go different Id have opted for same as heds with a z20 etc.
Im unsure on what Si says below but with the 15" cesaros and 45 series tyres they were catching the rear arches over bumps with the lower springs on! So maybe their is some truth in it!
Ive never heard that before but If you read my reply above I guess their could be some truth to that!
Nick.

Nick, had a conversation with Vlietje (Jeffrey) the other day about fitting tyres to freshly painted alloys as opposed to powder coated alloys. 2K paint is softer than powder coat and more prone to getting damaged when subjected to a tyre fitting machine. How do you go about this? Do you have a proper tyre fitter who understands painted alloys? In my experience, most tyre fitters are utter monkeys and don't care one bit about one's pride and joy...
One day I'll start a build thread. One day...
