Well I decided to pull my finger out and do a bit more welding.
I started by finishing the passenger side floor.
Was welding until I blew through in the bottom left hand corner/
I then cleaned it all done, wire wheeled and D/a'd it all down and the primed.
Then seam sealed,
Looks nice and OE so I am happy.
After that I fitted the rear arch.
Cut down and offered up
Cut out
And then tacked into place
Sadly it has rained heavily since

Massive respect for saving a shell and not just starting again.
Is there much left to do before the paint goes on
Complete list of welding to do is:
Finish N/s outer arch
Start N/s inner arch
Tie in the new front chassis legs to the old ones.
O/s floor requires a bit of work to.
Remove the sunroof.
and that is it,

Got home today and refitted a few engine parts.
Started with the sump.
Then on with the head.
and finally the Rocker cover. I used Stainless bolts on this as I think it just gives it the edge the car will one day deserve.
Tomorrow I will hopefully get the fuel pump, starter and intake on
